After upgrade to 4.2.3 version, there is a problem with DNS name resolving. It just does not work. My system is CentOS 6 x86_64 (glibc-2.12) I have isolated the problem: new implementation of __length_dotted() . When copied that function from samhain-2.8.3 - samhain works OK.
